Local Plasterers You Can Trust

Our Story

Plastering Newport was built on straightforward trade values: turn up when you say you will, quote honestly, and leave a finish that speaks for itself. We started out doing small internal jobs, patch repairs and skimming for homeowners around Newport, and the work grew mostly through word of mouth, one recommendation leading to the next. That's still how most of our jobs come to us today.

Over the years the scope of what we take on has grown alongside the team's experience. We now handle full external render systems, dry lining for extensions and conversions, and detailed period work like coving and ceiling roses, alongside the everyday repair and re-plastering jobs we started with. What hasn't changed is the approach: proper preparation, no shortcuts on backgrounds or drying times, and a tidy site every day we're on it.

Why Local Matters

Working across Newport and the surrounding South Wales towns means we understand the local housing stock, from Victorian terraces with solid lime-plastered walls to newer builds finished in plasterboard and modern renders. That local knowledge matters when diagnosing why a wall has cracked or a render has failed, since the right fix depends on how the building was originally constructed and how it's likely to move over time.

How We Work

Every job starts with a visit and a proper look at what's needed, not a guess over the phone. We give a clear, written quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises on price. On site, we protect floors and furniture, keep dust and mess to a minimum, and clean up properly at the end of each day rather than leaving a site half-finished overnight. We're fully insured, so you can have work carried out with confidence that you're covered.
